| 1. A Cutover Test prepares and ensures that the recovery systems can support the critical business functions.
Related Terms: Full Interruption Test, DR Plan Test Cycle. Note: Cutover Test gives the organization a high degree of confidence that the disaster recovery plan actually works during an actual disaster, especially in support of the critical business functions.
