BCM Institute Glossary in Wiki (Version 1.0) or BCMpedia provides Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Professional with definitions that help to reduce confusion, thus promoting a common understanding and interpretation when implementing the BCM planning process. The glossary for audit terminology is an extension to the current body of knowledge to focus on the auditing of the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery processes. The words defined below all have appeared on Business Continuity Certified Auditor (BCCA) and Business Continuity Certified Lead Auditor (BCCLA) examination questions, so they are worth knowing if you are studying for the auditing examination. Readers should also be aware that some of the terms are used for BCM Certification audit purpose and it is similar to the ISO 19011:2002 Guidelines for Quality and/or Environmental management system auditing.
